PARTIES, CHURCH, HAIRCUTS, BOWLING, AND FIREWORKS!!!

Since summer started this year, I think we have been at home all day only about 4 or 5 times. Needless to say this weekend was no exception. Our princess spent the night with her Gamma and Grandpa on Thursday, then with Nana and Papa(which they live in the "little" house right next door), two birthday parties on Saturday, Church on Sunday morning, and our Freedom Celebration at church on Sunday night. I am tired just typing all of that.

We started off at sweet Lily's second birthday...no pictures because it was about 5000 degrees and there was a pool with no fence...which would be ok but I had both kids alone. Have I mentioned that our little man is all over the place?
So we were off to the second party for Elizabeth's third birthday (aaron's twin brothers third child)

This is the face Aaron and our little man make when they hear another child scream at a party.

Did I mention he likes to eat...anything!

Would you have ever guessed that those are twin brothers--- and No I am not Kidding!!

CAKE--for the second time in the past two hours...

Off to church...aren't they cute??

How many moms are like me...I have to set the self-timer every 300 to 350 pictures to make sure I am in one. I am always taking the pictures and oh yeah...I normally look horrible so I am never in a picture. So you might appreciate this far away, not centered picture.

Our princess has been asking to have her hair cut and BOY did the lady cut it off and layer it...it is starting to grow on me...but she LOVES it.

After going CRAZY at home, I packed the kids up and headed to Shenanigans for some bowling, games, and air hockey. Speaking of air hockey...have you ever played with a 5 year old? The games seem to last a lot longer at that pace.

Our little man tried to chase the ball down the lane every time it was thrown.

Showing off the new do at the Freedom Celebration.

Did I mention Fireworks? We were suppose to go as a family of four but by this time it was 8:30 and our little man goes to bed around 7:30....so daddy took him home and the girls went to the Freedom Celebration. Well, we walked around the pond in the front of the church, found snails, bought some pops, and bought a sprite. It turned out to be a mommy and daughter event. After a little girl time and two potty breaks...my princess decided she was too hot and sweaty to stay for fireworks. We left and about 5 minutes down the road...the meltdown began. She was ready to go back, so we cried and pleaded for a few minutes then we discussed we would be more ready for fireworks on the actual Fourth of July.
Hope this finds you cool and not sweaty as our princess prefers it-- :-)
