It is very unusual for me not to have five million pictures on each post. I personally like looking at pictures of my friends and their families. I wanted to update everyone on what we have been doing and why I haven't been posting.
Things have been a little crazy around here lately...or at least for me. Aaron has been out of town several times in the last three weeks. I have had help from my parents while he is gone, which makes things soooo much easier. Collin and Papa have become good buddies. I asked Papa if he could take Collin to school so we don't have to leave the house at 6:30 in the morning. Instead Papa has kept him at come. They are spending the day together a few times each week. He gets to do "Boy" stuff and get dirty with Papa. He loves it.
Kennedy is loving kindergarten. I had her first parent-teacher conference. She is doing great, behaves, and uses her manners. The only thing we need to discuss is not talking quite so much and slowing down on her work. When school began we had to remind her to speed up.... Finding balance is obviously something we need to work on. She is also getting ready for her Christmas recital at dance. I am very excited about it because her teachers this year are Very talented.
I had dreamed of moving in to the new house at the beginning of November but with all of the rain we have had the last few months we were not able to get in. We are in the final stages. The cleaning lady came by today, the outside is painted, the appliances will be delivered later this week, the sprinkler man was there today, and the wood floors are suppose to be scraped by Thursday. It looks like 2 more weeks. I am overly anxious now. The end is in sight and it is making the wait even worse.
I am not going to complain about anything because I am Beyond Blessed.
God has given me a beautiful and healthy family, a new home that can be explained only as a gift from God, and more blessings than I can even count.
I will try to add some new pictures this weekend to show you all of the fun my little man and little lady have been having around here.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday and enjoy all of your blessings.
