DECEMBER-- Part 2

Let me start off by warning you this is going to be extremely long. It has been a long time and a lot has happened...

I just love my child's ability to turn even the simplest trip to Wal-Mart into her version of American Idol. You should have seen everyones smiles as they watched her sing in to her wrapping paper microphone.

Here is Collin wearing one of Grandpa's many santa hats. He didn't like it at first but ended up wearing it all night. He doesn't look so great here...this was the beginning of a long 2 weeks. Collin ended up with severe ear infections, a sinus infection, and some issues with his lungs. After 3 doctors appointments, 5 medicines, 8 days of 101+ temps, and a chest x-ray Collin finally began to feel better.

This is the Sunday before Christmas. Here are some of the pictures of the kids all dressed in their Christmas outfits. Like many of you noticed we didn't get around to formally having our pictures made for our Christmas card. Hopefully next year you will get one...

Collin loves boats. He was having a blast driving this one at the Bass Pro Shop.

As you can see, Collin really didn't like meeting Santa.

I just love the way he looks at his big sister. AND I just love the way she can use a candy cane as a reason to pose like this.

TROUBLE MAGNET!!!!

Christmas with Nana and Papa. We got Nana some more Wii games and Papa a juicer that he has been wanting for a while. The kids were excited about their race track and cake maker.

Here we are making cookies for Santa.

Guess who showed up at our house??? It was the big man himself. Santa stopped by to drop off some bedtime snacks before he headed out to drop off some more toys. Kennedy was in shock and Collin felt horrible and wanted nothing to do with Santa.

Christmas morning: Santa brought Kennedy a Wii and Collin a motor cycle. We started a new tradition in our house. It worked out great and can't wait to keep it going. Everyone in our house is responsible for buying one gift for the other three people in the house. It was great for many reasons...Kennedy felt so much pride when we opened the gifts she had chosen for us, it saved tons of money, and we are going to continue giving more gifts to the "ANGELS" we choose from our tree at church. I also liked the fact that we had to really make sure the gifts we were buying were special and what the other person would really like.

Here is Collin riding naked because he was running 102 degree temperature. Poor thing.

These are a few random pictures of the kids playing Christmas morning and helping Daddy put things together.

Christmas at Gamma and Grandpas. Grandpa trying to throw food up in the air and catch it. He also tried to get Collin to try but he only thought it was funny when Grandpa did it.

After Christmas at home, then Gamma and Grandpas, we returned home for a nap, then we got and enjoyed some mexican food and presents with Woods' family.

We are enjoying the new home and all of the craziness it brings. 2009 was great and I hope we continue to be as blessed in 2010.
