This year has been a little crazy for me personally. I like things in their place and the chaos of moving with two kids does not always lend itself to orderly and easy. For some reason I was not as on top of my game this year when it came to birthday preparations. Instead of having two separate parties for the kids we decided one big bash would be better... right? Well in many ways it was.
My baby turned 2 in May. Can you believe it? Two? How did that happen? He LOVES porsches. That is really an understatement. So the natural fit for his section of the party would be porsches. A co-worker of mine made his cake and we loved it... AND it tasted great too.
Collin was sooo excited to blow out his candles I had to light them again and pull him back so he would stop blowing them out. Happy Birthday my sweet boy!!!
SIX... You heard me. Six years old. My six year old daughter likes Hello Kitty. We have backpacks, lunch boxes, clothes, water bottles, and toys. So it was only appropriate that we have a Hello Kitty themed party.
My big girl had tons of friends and tons of fun when she blew out the candles on her kitty cake. It was fabulous. SLOW DOWN Kennedy...I am not ready yet. AND no you are not almost 7....
HE DID IT!!!! IT was completed for the birthday party and it was great. Aaron worked so hard to build the play set in time for the kids party. I am thankful that we didnt' have one of these at the other house because as much work as it was there would be NO WAY we would have left it. Anyways, we played outside on our new playset, bounce house, and generally ran in 50 different directions.
The party was a great success. The kids had a great time, the weather was good, and it only required one house cleaning session. More pics to come.
