Basketball

My sweet Kennedy is normally not a very reserved little girl but for some reason when it comes to trying new things she basically refuses. We had an offer to join a team with her new best friend. Kennedy was more than excited to be on Lily's team. She was a little hesitant at first but that quickly went away. We practiced twice a week in preparation for our upcoming season. Each night we would leave Kennedy would beg for practice to be longer. That statement is a testament to how much fun she was having and what a great coach we had.

Kennedy's main job was to throw the ball into the point guard. She was more than ready except the few times she was so excited she sprinted to the other end and had to come right back.

On occasion there would be miscommunication and she would end up bringing the ball down the court.

So our record was not all that great but the girls had a great time. Our coach taught them a lot about the technical side of basketball, how to have fun, and how to play with class. Great season ladies. I am ready for next year!
