Christmas 2011

I absolutely love Christmas. I love Christmas for so many reasons. This year I felt like it was short due to our week long trip to Disney. Like always we celebrate with all three sides of our family and enjoy spending time with them. As tradition goes Nana and Papa come over on Christmas eve so we can celebrate Christmas, Nana's birthday, and make some goodies for Santa. There is nothing better than icing and sprinkles...don't you agree?
Thanks to a dear friend we had some reindeer food to spread so they wouldn't get hungry when they stopped by our house. Santa shouldn't be the only one with treats right?
After cookies and reindeer food it was time for "The Night Before Christmas" read by Daddy. Due to some unlikely events, things turned out a little differently than planned. If ever you want to hear that story I would love to share...just not in front of the children. The next morning we woke to find tons of presents ready to be opened. As a part of our tradition we open gifts at home then get ready to go to Gamma and Grandpa's for celebration number 3. We get all dressed up for Christmas day...everyone wears Buzz Lightyear costumes and new cowboy boots right?
After a short nap we head back home to host the Woods' family Christmas. It is so much fun and we wished we could do it more often but by the end of the day we are beyond exhausted. I am thankful for all that I have and it is all because of Him!
