Water Time and the New House

I have to say that lately I am starting to get a little stir crazy in the house. Not being able to take Collin into public is a lot harder than I would have expected and I never realized how much I normally run in to places to pick things up. Who would have ever thought that I would long for the day that I could take two kids to Wal-Mart or Target with me? Normally it is ....who can watch the kids so I can grocery shop alone...when you have those thoughts you know you are getting old. :-)
Once Aaron got home yesterday we set up the monster slip and slide to let the kids run off some energy. With it being 5000 degrees here lately we have been spending all of our time inside.

Here is Aaron joining in on the slip and slide fun...

Needless to say he is a little sore today. (I tried it a few weeks ago and was sore for a week...it is not as easy as you think throwing your body down on the hard ground)
What a shot!!! He is flying in the air.

Both kids sliding at the same time...boy my timing was great that day.

Here is Aaron trying the bottom slide.

Our wild man definitely knows how to make the most of the slip and slide...he is a natural.

Now on to the house...we went by on Tuesday to take some pictures for the pool people...this is what we saw

Isn't it great.... a flat piece of land with no trees :-)

I do REALLY love it though.

We drove by on Thursday and this is what we saw....

PROGRESS!!!!

The forms are being set for the foundation. The plumbing should be going in by the beginning of the week, then it is on to the foundation.... We only have about 4,736 more steps to go but at least the first few are in motion. I am so excited about having a brand new house that we got to pick everything from layout to colors and textures. We are hoping that by November we are in the house. (I am really hoping deep down that we are in there by mid October...a girl can dream)
