Lots of Fun This Weekend

We had such a fun weekend. It included a fabulous birthday party, a girls day out, and some family fun at the lake. Since the little man has chicken pox we have been trying to do fun things that do not include the public so we don't expose him to any extra germs or expose others to his germs.

Collin's first trip on Grandpa's boat at Lake Tawokani with our family.

Uncle Chris and Kennedy waiting to put the boat in the water.

Collin sunscreened up with a life jacket...

Kennedy riding in the front ready for Grandpa to fast.

Uncle Chris skiing.

Daddy and Kennedy!

Collin in the tube with mommy.

Daddy blowing kisses to Kennedy and Collin.

Mommy and Kennedy riding the tube.

Our tired turkeys.

Kennedy and Collin had a great time. We had fun swimming at the "beach", swimming in the open water, riding fast, skiing, and tubing. Aaron, Chris, and myself all went skiing...there are no pictures posted of me because my legs are SOOO white it is literally painful to see. This was Collin's first time in the lake and boat. He loved it. He did not fight the life jacket at all. If he wasn't in the water or waving at the other boats he was eating pancakes, biscuits, and yogurt. This was Kennedy's first time in a tube. She did NOT want to go but I made her. She ended up having a blast. We will hopefully get to go out a little more often now that we know how everyone reacts to the whole situation.

Now on to other things...

Collin loves to wear sunglasses...now he has his very own spiderman pair...finally something not pink.

Here is Kennedy all dressed up at Madison's birthday party...

Kennedy is dancing but behind the leaders...she wouldn't get on the runway with the other girls ...that is so not her but she did a great job following along anyways.

Before we went to the party Kennedy and I did a little shopping...I know it is hard to see but she is sporting a new purse and dress(I actually had a bow that matched perfectly...I have had it for about two years and finally got to use it)

After the birthday party Kennedy and I decided to have a girls day. I asked her where she wanted to eat and she said she didn't care. Well, we went to Chili's --she said I'm not hungry let's just get drinks and talk... I just love her. So that is what we did but we did eat cheese fries and just HAD to stop by Braum's on the way home to top our day off with some ice cream after a short trip to one of my favorite stores... can you guess...Target. Aaron and Collin had a mellow day at home with some eating, napping, and checking out the progress on our lot.
Does life really get any better?

  1. It's funny, most of the time I think that Kennedy looks like you and that Elizabeth looks like me but there are sometimes that I see pictures of them that I think they look a lot alike, like the one of Kennedy in her car seat. Sounds like you guys had a fun weekend!
