Just a normal day...

The days seem to be running together and we seem to be running out of our "summer" time very quickly. I have a little over three weeks before I go back to school and four weeks until Kennedy starts Kindergarten. WOW!!! I can't believe it is already time....
Like I was saying, our days seem to be very similar since we can't go anywhere since Collin still has a bad case of chicken pox. So like every other day I start out cleaning the kitchen because for the first 30 minutes or so the kids are calm and playing on their own. Also this seems to be the best time for me to load the dishwasher so Collin won't climb on it. Well, I noticed it was awfully quiet and walked in to the front living room and this is what I saw....

I have decided that his name should be monkey because he literally does and uses anything he can find to climb up on things.

But how can you resist a face like this???

And when you hear lots of giggles from the kids, you see Collin being pushed in a doll stroller and Kennedy trying not to dump him out because she is going WAY too fast.


You also know there is progress happening when you have one of these...

We will finally have all of our permits tomorrow and after one last inspection the foundation is set to be poured.....YEAH!!!!


Here are 2 of the 3 sets of grandparents watching the kids slip and slide. Thanks to Gamma and Grandpa we were all able to enjoy our favorite flavor of ice cream too.



One of the reasons I like to do this blog is to document firsts....
Collin's first bike ride with Daddy -- July 22,2009 I think he really enjoyed sitting back watching Kennedy ride her bike and looking at all of the animals they passed along the way.

What a cute kid!!!



My friend Laura has been coming over every night for the last couple of weeks to walk and be tortured by Jillian Michaels from the Biggest Loser. I bought one of her videos and I do have to say it works and she is mean on the video too. :-0 Back to my point...after a great walk tonight we came back to the house and took a ride in one of these....

After I figured out the race car clutch we had a great time.

I hope she enjoyed it...it is not that often you ride in a car that is worth more than your house. :-)
