It has been a very long time since I have posted anything. This year has been exciting, challenging, difficult, and fabulous all in the same breath. I am not normally a new years resolution type of person but this year I am going to make a few. I am trying to look at it as lifestyle changes instead of resolutions that are normally broken. 2011 will be a year for improvements. I have some goals for myself and my family that I am excited to start working towards.
1. Daily reading of my Bible
2. Daily Bible lessons/stories with my children
(I am looking for a good series if anyone can point me in a good direction I would appreciate it.)
3. Paying off all debt and staying out of debt
4. Exercise at least 2 times a week
5. Eating more healthy
This list can feel simple and overwhelming all at the same time but I feel a real push to work on them all. Too much of our life is consumed with TV, internet, and technology... If all of those things are put in their proper place I WILL have time to read, exercise, clean, and simply spend more time on what is important. I don't expect an overnight change but by this time next year I hope to be more healthy, closer to God, living a debt free life, and enjoying daily discussions with my children about something we just learned about the Lord. Wish us luck and pray for my/our focus. Many times when these types of changes start taking place the opposite types of challenges try to stop the positive changes. I will leave you with a "HAPPY NEW YEAR"
